Cassia Central Reservations

Acacia Consulting have created an exciting and new to the market itinerary based computerised reservations system called Cassia.

Written in Visual Studio .Net and using the MSSQL database engine Cassia is a state of the art central reservations system ideal for operations that require the ability to create reservations for multiple locations and multiple service types. (ie an itinerary that encompasses accommodation in a variety of locations and car hire)

The Cassia Reservations System comes with an online help system and full support and training by Acacia Consulting.

RESERVATIONS:

There is no limit to the number of suppliers that can be booked by the Cassia Reservations System. Reservations can be easily created for one night stays to multiple nights at multiple properties. Each reservation records clients names and addresses, wholesaler or travel agents details, payment details, package types, room or service types, special requests and more. Confirmations are sent automatically by either fax or e-mail to both client and supplier. Other reservation features incude the ability to produce travel vouchers or itineraries, send weekly arrivals reports to suppliers and to track reservation activity for groups, suppliers or customers.

Availability for a supplier(s) is able to be displayed using a number of selection criteria, e.g group, dates, room or service type, allocation pool.

IMS:

The Cassia Reservations System offers, we believe, the first fully operational interface to Tourism Tasmania’s Inventory Management System (IMS). This interface allows customers of the Cassia Reservations System to have all reservations, cancellations and amendments generated by clients of IMS automatically processed, suppliers notified, any necessary allocations updated and a hard copy of the reservation details automatically produced. Effectively this gives our clients 24 hour, 7 day a week access to IMS clients regardless of office operation hours.

ACCOUNTS:

The Cassia Reservations System can easily handle all your accounting requirements with regard to commission levels, invoicing and statements, supplier claims and payments, tracking of overdue accounts and more. Rates and packages are not only easy to create but also easily maintained and limitless in number. Multiple validity periods and the ability to specify rates by room or service type are just a few of the features offered.

Financial information such as payments to suppliers, commission, GST and other deductions can be automatically downloaded into an accounting package such as MYOB for further processing or hard copies of this information can be created in a report format.

REPORTS:

The Cassia Reservations System supplies support for sales, marketing, accounting and reservations departments with its ability to create fast and relevant reports. Tracking of client and supplier activity, provision of forward reservation statistics, detailed invoices and statements and the reporting of aged accounts are just a few of the features available. Reports can be printed to paper (A4), previewed on the computer screen or exported to other  functions such as e-mail or Excel for the creation of charts and graphs.

ALLOCATIONS:

The Cassia Reservations System can easily control allocation with suppliers. Whether the requirement is for a complex allocation system consisting of "pools" of allocation for different clients, differing release periods, blockout dates of room or service types or a simple sell and report system Cassia can handle all these needs.
